Who is Mario Ochoa?

A Hungarian citizen born in Honduras, Central America, Owner of a powerful voice empirically developed, sings in the style of Ricky Martin, Luis Miguel, Andrea Bocelli or Mark Anthony. Founding member of Barrio Latino Hungría, the first Timba band in Hungary where he recorded two successful albums.

Why Mai Rumba?

The word “Mai” means “Today’s” in Hungarian, it is very common to read it on the boards restaurants display to offer their gastronomical recommendations to passers/potential customers on that specific day.
The word “Rumba” besides being a musical gender, in Latin America is also used to describe a great get together with family or friends, a fantastic drinking and dancing event.

There’s no other original name for a band that performs the modern latin hits on every of its energetic performances in lots of domestic weddings, birthday parties, big international companies’ corporate events in Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Serbia and Latvia among other countries.

We get everyone on their feet

10 years of experience having performed live at Sziget Fesztival, the largest musical festival in Europe.
Its presentations are tailored to create an unforgettable atmosphere, blending traditional Hispanic rhythms with a modern flair to get everyone on their feet.
